Our Opportunity
Engineering & Technical Operations:
- Lead engineering efforts across manufacturing operations, ensuring reliability and efficiency of automation systems.
- Evaluate and implement process improvements for optimized performance.
- Maintain compliance with relevant safety and industry regulations.
Facility and Equipment Maintenance:
- Oversee HVAC maintenance and preventative schedules.
- Manage upkeep of equipment and technical systems across the facility.
- Lead and direct facility repair activities.
Capital Projects:
- Plan, manage, and execute capital projects up to $20M.
- Collaborate with vendors, engineers, and contractors to meet project goals.
- Ensure timelines and budgets are met.
- Maintain and develop state-of-the-art automation systems.
Campus and Grounds Management:
- Supervise upkeep of buildings and grounds on the 10-acre campus.
- Coordinate groundskeeping, repairs, and enhancements
Experience That We Look For
- A minimum of 8 years of experience as a plant or facilities engineer, preferably in the food industry, or in pharmaceutical or electronics manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience managing a team of maintenance people as well as an automation function.
- Proficiency with AutoCad and Solidworks.
- Experience managing large-scale programs, which will include managing a capital project from idea to completion ($10M budget or more)
- Will also consider someone with extensive experience who does not have a degree. For example, 12 years of relevant, equivalent experience in lieu of degree.

Compensation
The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation in our WTI incentive program. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability and wage protection programs and 401K with a company match. Paid vacation and sick time.

- Operate and maintain liquid mixing tanks, reactor vessels, and homogenizer
- Equipment assembly and disassembly for operation and maintenance
- Fill, seal and stack buckets of product onto pallets
- Add the appropriate amount of each ingredient to create products that meet specifications.
- Use basic math skills
- Scan and document labels for inventory
- Food grade sanitation requirements
- pH meter and titrator usage
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing production experience desired, but not required
- Be able to work effectively with little supervision.
- Basic math skills mandatory
- Mechanical ability desired
- Must be able to follow directions and pay attention to detail
- Able to contribute in a fast paced/team atmosphere
- Able to meet deadlines
- Kneeling, crouching, standing, bending and stooping is required
- Must be willing to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment when on the production floor
- No jewelry of any kind is permitted while working
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to be Confined Space Certified
- Must be able to be Forklift certified
- HACCP and Food Safety experience a plus
- Learn and apply valuable skills, and gain useful knowledge
- Able to take initiative and problem solve
- Candidate must be drug free, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and background check

Compensation: $16.50/hour and up DOE. Plus opportunity for an additional $160.00 bi-weekly attendance bonus. Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt Hours:- First Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday (some overtime required)
