WTI, Inc. is an established locally owned family business in Jefferson, GA that manufactures ingredients for the food industry for food we eat every day. We are looking for energetic, self-starting Production Manager to:

  • Direct and organize staff and allocates resources
  • Implement processes to improve manufacturing
  • Train production staff to improve their
  • Lead teams in both wet and dry production

Essential Functions

  • Manage the daily production and all production personnel.
  • Responsibilities also include interviewing, addressing complaints, problem solving, and all production related challenges.
  • Review production orders in wet and dry blending and schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan facility
  • Coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets
  • Reviews production in wet and dry blending and prepares operation reports and resolves operational and manufacturing problems.
  • Conducts daily meetings with the production leads to control the daily operations and review any customer issues.
  • Responsible for the overall morale of the
  • Provides daily production report.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience as a Production Lead or
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations
  • Ability to write reports and business
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond in group
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics inference, and fundamentals of geometry, trigonometry, and
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Chemical or compounding experience preferred.
  • HACCP and GMP knowledge preferred.
  • Must be willing to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment when on the production floor
  • No jewelry of any kind is permitted while working
  • Must be able to climb ladder
  • Must be able to be Forklift certified
  • Learn and apply valuable skills, and gain useful knowledge
  • Able to take initiative and problem solve
  • Candidate must be drug free, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and background check

Other

Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

Hours: 2:00 pm- 10:30 pm Monday-Friday (some overtime and weekends required)

Work Authorization: United States (Required)
