Every business searches for the perfect recipe for success. Few ever find it.
Back in the late 1960’s, World Technology Ingredient’s founder Wolf Ludwig was a 23-year-old German immigrant, new to the United States. He went to work at some of the industry’s most prominent processors and suppliers, making sausages and becoming a sales manager along the way.
Ludwig’s experiences taught him an invaluable lesson: quality, integrity, technology and above all, customer service were the essential ingredients for a successful business. He decided to create a company dedicated to this high standard.
Great things often have modest beginnings.
In 1978, with just $1,000 and a small garage in which to house his new company, Ludwig set about providing the food processing industry with the very best equipment and ingredients.
Now more than 30 years later, Ludwig’s dream has become reality. Even after his untimely passing in January 2017, his company, WTI, continues to uphold his passion and values as the industry’s leading source of functional ingredients. WTI holds multiple patents for a variety of processing methodologies and products.
While the company’s facility is bigger, and its technology more advanced, WTI’s commitment to impeccable customer service remains the same. It is after all, the main ingredient in our recipe for success.
